Welcome to Scotlands Music Store where
we've been supplying the best in folk music for
over 14 years. We are based on the north west coast
of Scotland, an area which can not only boast being
the home of Gaelic music in this country, the
landscape is also the inspiration for some of the
world's best loved Celtic melodies. Our store is
known to many as The Hidden Gem, where you'll find
in excess of 2000 Celtic titles regularly in stock
including the latest 'cutting edge' music, to
classic traditional titles which form the
foundation for the music we love. S.M.S can also
cater for the special needs that education centres,
and libraries require.
In a constant policy to bring you the
best choice of titles at any one time, we will be
upgrading this web site on a regular basis. our
site also contains a page for album and concert
reviews, many of which are written by our
customers, indeed we'd like to hear from you. We
have also made available a special area within this
site to bring you information of events, and places
worth visiting locally, so if you're lucky enough
to visit Scotland this may help you.
In 1990 we started our mail order
service via the folk related music press, over the
years we've built up a large database of customers
from all over the world, and it is by
